New Politics of Judicial Elections

Today, Network partners Justice at Stake and Brennan Center for Justice, along with the National Institute on Money in State Politics, released a report, The New Politics of Judicial Elections, which provides an overview of some of the major issues impacting impartial justice in state level courts today, in particular, money, television advertising, and elections.
Network partner Michigan Campaign Finance Network is cited in the report from their study on judicial campaign spending. All other network states are covered in the report, including robust sections on TV spending in Illinois, and multiple mentions of Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana and Minnesota.
