Minnesota political parties release maps; Network partners call for citizen comments

Political parties in Minnesota have had the opportunity to draw and submit redistricting maps to the special court panel on redistricting. Mike Dean of Network partner Common Cause Minnesota wrote an op-ed for the Duluth News Tribune this week bringing to light a lack of citizen involvement in the process, and offering avenues for public comment.

The Duluth News Tribune also calls for citizen involvement, saying that the process will continue “with us or without us,” while mentioning Network partners League of Women Voters Minnesota and Minnesota Council of Nonprofits.
