Hundreds march in Wisconsin over Citizens United

Hundreds braved sub-freezing temperatures and stiff winds to take part in the Feb. 16, 2010 demonstration protesting the U.S. Supreme Court’s election financing decision in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, according to the Wisconsin Democracy Campaign.

The event started with a rally on the front steps of the State Capitol before continuing with a march to the nearby federal courthouse. Many of the participants then returned to the Capitol to deliver statements to their state legislators urging them to support Democracy Campaign-backed reform legislation.
