Ohio groups try and serenade legislation back to session

ProgressOhio, COHHIO, Ohio Citizen Action and Common Cause Ohio joined together to release two redistricting videos earlier this week.

“Be a Hero” and “Baby Come Back” call on Senate Minority Leader Bill Harris and House Speaker Armond Budish to come back to session.

Before going on vacation,  the last act voted on placed the bullfrog as the state frog. According to the Ohio groups, the top priorities should be closing the payday lending loophole, addressing record foreclosure numbers, gerrymandering of political districts and passing the Employment Non-Discrimination Act which would make it illegal to fire or evict someone based on their sexual orientation.
